Colloquia about Board Games
April 06.-10., 2003. Board Game Studies VI in MarburgThe International Colloquium on Board Game Studies invites all scholars, in particular those scholars who utilise board games in their specific disciplines, to submit articles in the area of board games research. The purpose of the Colloquium is to discuss the role of board games in the academic arena and to enhance multi-disciplinary co-operation in games research.This colloquium will be held in the Deutsches Spiele Archiv (German Archiv for Games), near the centre of the city. The organization has the support of the Jury "Spiel des Jahres" (Game of the Year Award) and the Philipps - University Marburg.

April 2003Das internationale Kolloquium "Board Game Studies" lädt alle an der Erforschung der Geschichte der Brettspiele Interessierte ein, Artikel zu senden in denen einzelne Aspekte aus verschiedenen Disziplinen vorgestellt werden. Das Kolloquium beabsichtigt die Rolle der Erforschung der Brettspiele in der wissenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung zu diskutieren. Dabei soll insbesondere die interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit für die Spieleforschung verstärkt werden.Das Kolloquium findet statt im Deutschen Spiele Archiv Marburg, die Organisation wird unterstützt von der Jury "Spiel des Jahres" und der Philipps - Universität Marburg. Das letzte Kolloquium fand in Barcelona vom 21. 25. April 2002 statt |
